My summer 2008

So here is almost the end of this Rainy summer!
I did find a job at the hospital as I wished in my last posting. I work at the General as a Health Care Aid. Oh, I went though a lot feelings of emotions, denial, doubts, anger, and satisfaction. It was very tough in the beginning with heavy duties and hours AND with nurses who ignored me at first, but after everybody needed help, they became nicer. Also, the working conditions of nurses scared me of my future. It's 12 hours of hard physical and mental work on the top of the critical patients with a lot of treatments and medications. Good things were that I have learned a lot and I was not afraid to ask questions. I also feel more comfortable at the hospital!!! And doing basic care is now very easy and quick!!! So I should not have problems this year when I will have 3-4 patients. We'll see...I'm looking forward to this LAST year!!! I want to see other floors and maybe I'll find a perfect place for work and learning.
I also continued to work at my Lenscrafters. This job was my little vacation form hospital. I loved that I could dress up here and put on my make up and enjoy my work with healthy people.
So June and July were working months without much of fun of summer. However, we managed to drive to Syracuse to shop for a weekend, but August seems to be the best FUN month with a big friend's wedding, a trip to Mont-Tremblant, weekly bbqs and fishing!
